To celebrate the launch of the Kitchen Reset Program, I’m hosting a (free!) 5-day challenge to help you upgrade your life in the kitchen. Don’t worry, the challenges are quick and easy – it’s all about keeping things simple and getting rid of stuff you don’t need to make more room for what you want.
Do all five challenges within the five days (by end of day Friday 5/1 – any order is fine), and you’ll be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE: a spot in the Kitchen Reset Program, which begins on May 4th. Ready? Let’s play!
Day 1

Your Challenge
Find ONE food storage container that’s seen better days (warped, stained plastic, missing a lid, etc.) and say goodbye. Recycle if possible. 😉
The Prize
A set of my favorite glass food storage containers.
How To Enter
✔️ Take a photo of your sad food storage container reject.
✔️Post the photo on Instagram and tag it with @loveleafco (post or story). Make sure you’re following @loveleafco too!
✔️ Optional: every friend you tag in the comments of the Instagram post counts as an additional entry.
Good luck and see you tomorrow!
Day 2
Your Challenge
Find ONE spice that you haven’t used in years (or is past its prime) and say goodbye!
Your Prize
A set of the spice labels featured in the photo above! They work perfectly with these uniform spice jars.
How to Enter
✔️ Take a photo of your (soon to be discarded) spice. Post the photo on Instagram and tag it with @loveleafco (post or story) OR tell me in the comments of the post what spice you said goodbye to. Make sure you’re following @loveleafco too!
✔️ Optional: every friend you tag in the comments of the Instagram post counts as an additional entry.
Good luck and see you tomorrow!
Day 3
Your Challenge
Eat one serving of vegetables in any meal you choose.
Your Prize
A Stasher Bag! One of my favorite products to use less plastic in the kitchen – perfect for freezing fruit for smoothies 👏🏼.
How to Enter
Take a photo of your meal and tag @loveleafco OR tell me your meal in the comments of this post.
See you tomorrow!
Day 4
Your Challenge
You don’t have to put everything into jars to have an organized kitchen (I save mine mostly for bulk bin ingredients), but… you do need to be able to see what you have ( = less overbuying and easier to plan meals 👏🏼).
Pick a category of pantry items and group them all together in a cabinet. Some category ideas: grains, snacks, pasta, canned items, baking ingredients, etc.
Your Prize
A set of the pantry labels featured in the photo above! They work perfectly with these glass jars with bamboo lids.
How to Enter
Take a photo of your organized category and tag @loveleafco OR tell me what category you chose in the comments of this post.
See you tomorrow!
Day 5
Your Challenge
Find one food item from your pantry that’s been in there for a while. Make sure it’s still good (if not, toss it!) and then make a plan to actually use it. Search the ingredient on Epicurious or New York Times Cooking and see what recipes come up!
Your Prize
One of my favorite pantry ingredients of all time: this Entube harissa paste (used to make the Moroccan carrot salad shown above 💃🏼).
How to Enter
Take a photo of the ingredient you’re planning to use and tag @loveleafco OR tell me what you come up with in the comments of this post.
