Basil kombucha mojitos are a healthy, paleo cocktail that are low sugar. Sweetened with a bit of stevia and made with basil, ginger kombucha, and rum.
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- 2 limes, each cut into 4 wedges
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or pinch of stevia, to taste if desired
- 3 oz light rum
- 6–9 oz ginger kombucha
- Get two glasses. To the bottom of each glass, add 4 lime wedges, 2 basil leaves, and a bit of honey or stevia (if desired).
Muddle the lime, basil, and honey (or stevia) together.
Fill half of each glass with crushed ice, then add 1.5 oz rum to each, a little more ice, and top each with 3 ounces of kombucha.
Gently stir and enjoy.
