A Peek Inside January’s Meal Prep Box!
January’s box is full of clean, veggie-full recipes – the perfect way to kick off the New Year. Our subscribers start the month with the low-carb chicken lettuce wraps (topped with all the flavorful crunch). Next, they’re making comforting Moroccan tagine bowls (any extra servings can be frozen!). For a mid-month dose of greens, there’s a simple kale tahini Caesar salad (crispy chickpeas = healthy croutons). And then they end the month with the colorful hummus bowls topped with our (healthy and addicting) crispy sunflower seed falafel.
And because we’re all about the greens in January, we added in a nourishing, uplifting matcha-maca blend for a quick and easy green smoothie – enjoy as a breakfast or snack. And for New Year’s resolutions that involve trying new things, we added in a mushroom coffee mix from Four Sigmatic, full of superfood mushrooms.

This spicy crunch topping is from one of our favorite small, family-owned brands, Crunch Dynasty. It’s an exotic blend of garlic, shallots, soy sauce, sesame seeds, and hot peppers that tastes good on just about everything – especially low-carb Chicken Lettuce Wraps (recipe included!).
RAS EL HANOUT SEASONING
Ras el hanout seasoning is a spice mix from North Africa, used heavily in Moroccan cuisine. It has a pungent, warm flavor – perfect for cozy tagines, like the Moroccan Tagine Bowls with Apricots and Quinoa.
BIENA CRISPY CHICKPEAS
These protein-packed, high-fiber, crispy chickpeas come from one of our favorite snack brands, Biena. They’re the perfect crunchy salad or bowl topping, like on our Kale Tahini Caesar Salad with Crispy Chickpeas.
SUNFLOWER SEED FALAFEL MIX
A mix to make easy, gluten-free, baked falafel with a little spicy kick. Just add the mix to a food processor, throw in some lemon juice and tahini, and bake. And then enjoy on the colorful Hummus Bowls with Sunflower Seed Falafel and Lemony Tahini.
