I know, I know. Who needs another green smoothie recipe, right? Well, actually I did. Let me explain.
Loveleaf Co. is all about simplifying the kitchen and healthy eating. But… I’m not immune to overcomplicating things. Like, sometimes I look into the blender in the morning and almost every ingredient I own is in there: hemp seeds, chia seeds, protein powder, moringa powder, cranberry powder, etc.
Not only does this “everything but the kitchen sink” approach make what is *supposed* to be quick breakfast quite a production – but I’m not sure it’s the healthiest approach either. All the nuts, seeds, superfoods, and powdered potions can be a lot for the body to process at once.
So here’s a very easy green smoothie recipe, with just five simple, whole-food ingredients. If you want to add a protein boost (a great addition for breakfast because protein will keep you full longer) I like collagen peptides for an easily digestible option.
